What determines the price of guillotine glass?
The price of guillotine glass depends on the dimensions, the model, the glass type and the installation conditions. What you need to know before asking for a quote.
Because guillotine glass is made to measure, there is no ready-made price list. The same model can come out at different prices in two different spaces. The main factors that determine the price are as follows.
Dimensions and number of panels
As the width and height increase, so does the need for glass, profile and motor power. Classic is for heights up to 2,200 mm; taller openings need Smart or Luxury.
Glass type
There is a cost difference between single glazing and double glazing. Double glazing improves thermal insulation; if the space will be used in winter too, it makes up the difference over time through energy savings.
Model
Classic with one moving panel, Smart with two moving panels and Luxury with panels that stack upwards have different mechanisms, and their prices vary accordingly.
Installation conditions
The structure the guillotine glass will be fitted to (a pergola, a bioclimatic pergola or an existing structure), the condition of the floor and access also affect the quote.
